What to expect
As an experienced leader with Girl Scouts River Valleys, I prioritize building friendships and guiding girls toward greater independence. Our troop will camp annually and participate in various enriching activities throughout the year.

-
Spring & Summer: Monthly meetings please see events for all our upcoming meetings
-
September: Parent-only meeting (no children) to prepare for the year ahead
-
October – May: Bi-weekly meetings on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
-
Please ensure your child eats dinner before meetings, as we do not provide snacks at every gathering.

-
Troop Dues: $100 per scout, due by October 1st. These cover troop activities and membership renewals.
-
Financial Assistance: Available to ensure all girls can participate—please reach out if needed.
-
Even if your child does not return the following year, we will renew their Girl Scout membership so they can continue accessing member-only benefits, such as events and discounted camp pricing.

To run a successful troop, we need two registered adults, with at least one identifying as female. We are looking for:
-
Co-Leader: Someone to assist with meetings and support troop activities.
-
Cookie Parent: A family volunteer to manage inventory and coordinate participation during cookie season.
